Designed by Canadian kite artist Robert Trépanier from Quebec, this is a fun, easy-to-make kite that can be transformed into a bug, an insect, or a creature more fantastical. A large (23 inches) kite with sturdy spars, it is made of soft Tyvek® and can be decorated with markers or paints. Good for art classes, and/or for integrating with primary-level science units.
