Designed by Canadian kite artist Robert Trépanier, this flat, sturdy kite is easy for people of all ages to make. The large sail area makes it fun to decorate with markers, crayons or ink. The central vent (hole) helps to stabilize the kite’s flight, and can be incorporated into the decorative design (for example, in a “fantastic face”). Printed on 11” x 17” bond. Sold in 10-pack only.
Decoration: Decorate with markers, crayons or ink.
Recommended Age: Appropriate for all ages with adult supervision.
Ideal wind conditions for this kite: Light (flag on a pole gently moving, not fluttering) to Medium (a flag on a pole is steadily moving, fluttering).
NOTE: For a peace-action project in spring 2005, this kite design was called the “Peace Kite.”
